Founded in 2017, Marine Polishing was created on the back of the

ever-increasing scale and utilisation of stainless steel on modern day

superyachts. By offering professional services of restoration and

maintenance, we have encountered a receptive market and a growing

change in attitude towards an area which has been generally neglected.

Both partners have over 20 years of experience in the sector, working on

hundreds of vessels during that period. 

With its base in Barcelona, Marine Polishing is ideally situated to travel throughout the Mediterranean and the shipyards of Northern Europe.

Whether a straightforward mechanical polish or a full-blown restoration,

including welding, should it be necessary, for deep gouges or scratches,

we offer solutions to any specific task or problematic area, including

nano technological coatings for glass, metal, textiles and wood which

facilitate daily maintenance for the crew.

Each potential job is judged on its own merits and a reasonably accurate

estimate can be submitted within 24 hours of receipt of a brief

description and accompanying photos of the task and its requirements.

Our standard fare of exterior work on stainless steel bollards, capping

rails, anchor pockets, stacks and fairleads has evolved into interiors, lift facias, thresholds, fittings and galley's to engine rooms on projects and with other metals such as titanium and

brass.

We have 20 years of experience in corrosion remediation and offer abrasive blasting for water tanks and hulls as well as dry ice blasting and steam cleaning for engine rooms.

Through strategic alliances we also offer from our Barcelona base, electroplating, powder coating, rubberised coatings, anodising and electropolishing services which cover every need, in every department, ranging from interior fittings, chroming horns on deck to engine room checker plates.
